HR payroll Administrator Roles with workflow Routing

Use this report to view HR/Payoll roles and the employees associated with that role.  Roles included are:

  • HR Payroll Approver
  • HR Unit Administrator
  • HR Unit Reporting Administrator
  • HR Unit TOC form Initiator
  • Manager Self Service
  • HR Unit Time Administrator
  • HR Unit Time Entry Specialist

*Note* If you have personalized My Approvals & Workflow you may need to clear your browser cache, then reset personalization; or manually add the HR/Payroll Administrator Roles tile and remove the Org. Workflow table tile for that group.

How to Search

Filter Bar

Search by Org Unit of security role

  1. Enter the Organization unit number in the field labeled Org Unit of security role.  Click the Go button.
  2. Search results based on your entry will be presented in six tabs for the various roles.

Search by MSU Net ID

  1. Enter the Employee MSU Net ID in the MSU Net ID field or click the look-up at the end of the field.  A new screen will appear.
  2. On the new screen, from Select From List you may enter Personnel Number, Last Name, First Name or MSU Net ID.
  3. Click Go button.
  4. Select the MSU Net ID.
  5. Click Ok button.
  6. Click Go button.
  7. Search results based on your entry will be presented in the search results area.

Search by Employee Type

  1. Click the down-arrow on the Employee type field.
  2. Select the Employee type you would like to search by.
  3. Click Go button.
  4. Search results based on your entry will be presented in the search results area.

Search by Workflow Approval Level

  1. Click the down-arrow on the Workflow Approval Level field.
  2. Select the Approval Level you would like to search by.
  3. Click Go button.
  4. Search results based on your entry will be presented in the search results area.

How to Sort and Group Search Results

  1. Once your search results have been returned, click the "gear" icon above the search results section.  A new screen will appear.
  2. Click Sort or Group depending on what function or combination of functions desired.
  3. In each section, a blank field will be presented with a down-arrow. Click the down-arrow to sort or group by.
  4. Click the "plus" button at end of row for multiple sort and group options.
  5. Click OK button.
  6. Search results based on your entry will be presented in the search results area.

Export to Excel

  1. Click "paper with graph" icon above the search results section.
  2. Export fetches data from the server and opens in Excel spreadsheet.
