Life happens. At MSU, we understand the importance of flexibility to make changes to your benefits to meet your needs. Life events such as birth, adoption, marriage, retirement or leaving the university may qualify for mid-year changes to benefits*.

*Note: You can only enroll Other Eligible Individuals (OEI) in your benefits at certain times, including during annual open enrollment periods, within 30 days from your date of hire or within 30 days of experiencing a work status change that makes you newly eligible for benefits.
