My ID Has No Roles in the EBS Portal

When logging into the EBS Portal, if you receive a message that your ID is not assigned any roles in the EBS Portal (and a blank page with no tiles), take the appropriate action as outlined below:

Employee Self-Service security roles are automatically granted on your start date. If it is BEFORE your start date, wait to log in until the day you actually begin at MSU.

Employee Self-Service security roles are automatically granted on your start date. If it is AFTER your start date, check with the department that is hiring you to see the status of the hiring process for you. Once the hiring 'paperwork' is complete your roles will be granted the next morning.

One possible cause is that you have more than one MSU NetID, but there may be other reasons for this situation.
