The Spartan Experience
At Michigan State University, service excellence isn’t just a goal; it’s a shared commitment. The Spartan Experience is a dynamic, interactive training designed to engage MSU employees in strengthening customer and colleague relationships, enhancing professionalism, and creating consistent, high-quality experiences across campus.
In this session, participants will learn how to:
- Understand the customer journey and how daily interactions shape the Spartan brand.
- Build trust and rapport with customers through active listening, empathy, and professionalism.
- Apply the See, Own, Solve, Do framework to real-life service situations.
- Strengthen team collaboration and internal service culture.
This training is grounded in real MSU examples, team activities, and self-reflection. Whether you work in student services, facilities, finance, or academic support, you’ll walk away with tangible strategies to elevate your service mindset and make a positive impact, one interaction at a time.
Join your colleagues in creating an MSU where every touchpoint reflects excellence. Let’s reconnect to what it means to be a Spartan, together.
