Software Settings
Viewing PDF Documents
In order to view PDF docuements on-screen, the proper settings must be maintained in your browser. If these settings are not present, you may receive the option to "Download PDF" instead.

To view PDF documents on screen, when the application allows it:
- Choose Customize and control Google Chrome (three vertical dots at end of toolbar)
- Then Settings
- Choose Privacy and Security (in the left pane)
- Choose Site Settings (in the right pane)
- Choose Additional Content Settings
- Select PDF Documents
- Select Open PDFs in Chrome
- Close the tab
To view PDF documents on screen, when the application allows it:
- Choose Settings and more (three horizontal dots at end of URL bar)
- Select Settings
- Choose Cookies and site permissions
- Select PDF documents (at right)
- Set slider to off for Always download PDF files
- Close the tab
To view PDF documents on screen, when the application allows it:
- Choose Open Application Menu (three horizontal bars at end of URL bar)
- The select Settings
- Under the Applications section
- For Portable Document Format (PDF) change the setting to Open in Firefox
- Close the tab
Alternatively, the choice of "Adobe Acrobat" or "Use Windows default" will open the PDF in a new window.
