SAP Migration Project  

With the April 7, 2025 upgrade to the EBS Portal and HR/Payroll System, several minor changes will occur. In addition to the bright, clean look , you many notice a few other items.  

Improvements in HR/Payroll Inbox 

More items now open inside the HR/Payroll Inbox, and they are automatically “claimed” when you click them, reserving them for your action only. Learn more about the Claim and Release functionality of the HR/Payroll Inbox .  

Additionally, some of the information that was previously at the top of the form is now at the bottom for some forms, such as when the form was initiated and by whom.

New System Email Address Sender for Workflow 

If you have a filter set up in your email to help you manage your notifications, you will want to update it . The sender email address for workflow tasks will now be SAP_WFRT@msu.edu (previously it was wf-batch@msu.edu ). Many people who receive a large volume of emails to approve HR forms, pay changes, cost redistributions, and other items may have filters set up in their email client (like MS Outlook) to manage that volume. If this is you, you will want to create a new rule or filter for this new email address.  

Earnings Statements for Employees paid Bi-Weekly 

The EBS Portal will be unavailable beginning Friday, April 4, 2025 at noon. Employees who are paid bi-weekly can see their Earning Statements April 2, 2025.  

Position Details 

The “Position Details by Organizational Unit” was removed, as that information is now available in the Employee Information Report. You can learn more about using the “ Employee Information Report ." A summary of position information can be found in the “ Position Details and Relationships ” report.
