Report Prompts (HRP1102)

When running the Succession Planning Report, users will be presented with prompts to identify parameters and sets of data to be included in the report results. Two types of searches can be performed:

1. Organization/Department Search: Provides a search on one or more organizations, and/or one or more departments. The search will allow the user to view summary charts by different personnel subareas, and view a detailed listing of all employees in the chosen organization(s) and/or department(s).

2. Enterprise Structure Search: Provides a search across all organizations and departments by specific personnel subareas, employee groups, and employee subgroups. The search will allow the user to view summary charts by different personnel subareas, and view a detailed listing of all employees in the organization(s) and department(s) that has applicable data.

Organization/Department Search

Prompt #1: Select the “As of Date” to run the report. This prompt is required. Data will pull as of the date selected and defaults to today’s date.

Prompt #2: Select either Organization(s) or Department(s)/Sub-Org(s) option to filter based on MAU(s) or department(s) desired. The default is Organization(s) and this prompt is required. If this is being rerun in the same session, you will want to click the Reprompt button to make sure all the options are reset.

Prompt #3a: Select the organization(s) for the report. To select more than one organization, just hold down the “Ctrl” button on your keyboard until you’ve chosen all the organizations you want in the report (options are restricted by Org Level Security). This prompt is required if you chose Organization(s) in the previous prompt. You can also then choose the departments within the selected organization(s) by clicking on Reprompt to then selecting the departments within the chosen organization(s). If you are rerunning this report in the same session, you will also want to click on Reprompt to then chose the applicable departments.

Prompt #3b: If you chose Department(s)/Sub-Org(s) in prompt 2 and clicked Reprompt, this prompt is required, and you should see the following. Click on the departments that you want to search by holding down the “Ctrl” button on your keyboard.

Prompt #4: Click Finish at the bottom of the page to run the report.

Enterprise Structure Search

Prompt #1: Select the “As of Date” to run the report. This prompt is required. Data will pull as of the date selected and defaults to today’s date.

Prompt #2: Go to the Enterprise Structure section near the bottom of the page and select one of the Personnel Areas that are offered. This prompt is required to run the Enterprise Structure search and will then provide applicable personnel subarea options. You can also select either Organization(s) or Department(s)/Sub-Org(s) option at the top of the page and still use the Enterprise Structure prompts to refine your search.

Prompt #3: Choose the specific Personnel Subarea groups to run the report. This prompt is required, and you can click on Select all to choose all options instead of clicking each one separately.

Prompt #4: Select one of the Employee Group options. This prompt is required, and the report will provide the applicable employee subgroup options.

Prompt #5: Choose the specific Employee Subgroup options to run the report. This prompt is required, and you can click on Select all to choose all options instead of clicking each one separately.
