Performance Excellence is a performance management process lasting throughout the year. It is designed to meet the needs of individuals and the university.

MSU needs talented staff who are continually developing their skills to meet the needs of a rapidly changing world. Every staff member contributes to the overall success of MSU's educational, research and outreach missions. All staff members, no matter how skilled, need to keep learning. Both supervisors and employees have a responsibility to participate and engage with this process.
