Earning Statement Updates Effective January 2023

Please take note of the following updates to employee earning statements effective this month:

View Earning Statement Two Days Early

Starting with the January 27 bi-weekly pay, all employees will be able to view their earning statements in the EBS Portal two days prior to the pay date. 

To view your earning statement, log into the EBS Portal, click on My Time & Payroll in the top navigation and then select the Earning Statements tile.

We encourage employees to view their earning statements online prior to contacting Payroll with questions. For questions about your earning statement, please contact the Payroll Office at 517-355-5010 or CTLR.PAYROLL@ctlr.msu.edu.

Time Quota Balances will be Removed from Earning Statements

Effective January 26, all time quota balances will be removed from employee earning statements. To view your time quota balances at any time, log into the EBS Portal, click on My Time & Payroll in the top navigation and then select the Time Quota Balances tile.

Often times employees will mistake quota balances on their earnings statements as current, when in fact they are point in time. Time quota balances are updated nightly and reflect approved and processed entries only. To reduce confusion, the time quota balances are being removed from earnings statements.
