Hourly Support Staff / CTs / TOC / Students

Salary Support Staff / Faculty / Academic Staff Graduate Assistants / Undergrad Professorial Assistants

EPSL Reason #1-3
Employee to receive full pay up to 80 hours
(prorated for less than full time employees)
Maximum benefit $511 per day or $5110 total

2021 Student COVID Sick

Enter daily hours using the following codes:
  • 2916 COVID Sick - for Hourly SS/CT/TOC hours
  • 2021 Student COVID Sick - for Student hours
Examples:
  1. Entry for an hourly employee working standard 5 eight hour day schedule
    2916 COVID Sick - 8 hours per day
  2. Entry for student working part time schedule:
    2021 Student COVID Sick - # hours per schedule
  3. Entry for CT working 4 ten hour day schedule:
    2916 COVID Sick - 10 hours per scheduled day

Note:
*Total hours cannot exceed 80 or prorated amount for part time employees.
**If hourly rate is greater than $63.87 or employee is in a non-standard work schedule, be sure maximums are not exceeded and adjust time entry as needed.

2916 COVID Sick

Examples:

  1. Entry for Support Staff working standard 5 eight hour day schedule:
    2916 COVID Sick - 8 hours per day
  2. Entry for Support Staff working non-standard schedule:
    2916 COVID Sick - # hours per schedule per day
  3. Entry for Faculty/Academic Staff
    2916 COVID Sick - 8 hours (or prorated hours) for week days (Monday - Friday) of leave

Note:
*Total hours cannot exceed 80 or prorated amount for part time employees.
**HR will review and make adjustments to ensure daily maximum of $511 or total maximum of $5110 is not exceeded.

Time entered by HR upon receipt of Request for Emergency Paid Sick Leave (EPSL)  form

 

EPSL Reason #4-6
Employee to receive 2/3 of pay up to 80 hours (prorated for less than full time employees)
Maximum benefit $200 per day or $2000 total

2022 Student COVID Fam Care
2918 COVID Fam Care Unpaid

Enter 2/3 of daily hours as paid and 1/3 of hours as unpaid using the following codes:

  • 2917 COVID Fam Care - for Hourly SS/CT/TOC paid hours
  • 2022 Student COVID Fam Care - for Student paid hours
  • 2918 COVID Fam Care Unpaid - for all unpaid hours

Examples:

  1. Entry for an Hourly SS/CT/TOC employee working standard 5 eight hour day schedule:
    2917 COVID Fam Care - 5.3 hours per day
    2918 COVID Fam Care Unpaid - 2.7 hours per day
  2. Entry for student working part time schedule:
    2022 Student COVID Fam Care - 2/3 x daily scheduled hours per day
    2918 COVID Fam Care Unpaid - 1/3 x daily scheduled hours per day
  3. Entry for Hourly SS/CT/TOC working 4 ten hour day schedule:
    2917 COVID Fam care - 6.7 hours per day
    2918 COVID Fam Care Unpaid - 3.3 hours per day
Note:
*Must enter both paid and unpaid hours. Total of paid and unpaid hours cannot exceed 80 or prorated amount for part time employees.
