Data Definitions (HRP774)

The data columns used in the Monthly List of New Faculty report are defined on this page.  

  1. Organization:  The primary college or MAU code and name in which the employee is assigned.  
  2. Department:  The primary department code and name in which the employee is assigned.
  3. Professional name:  The faculty members’ professional name as indicated in the HR/Payroll system. 
  4. Personnel Number:  An HR/Payroll system generated number linking a person to an assignment.
  5. Gender Name:  The employee’s gender as indicated in the HR/Payroll system.
  6. Ethnic ID:  The employee’s ethnicity as indicated in the HR/Payroll system.
  7. Job Employment Category Name:  The faculty members’ employment category in which the employee is assigned.
  8. Employee Subgroup Name:   A further breakdown of the employee assignment.  All control features of the Personnel Structure are defined at the Employee Subgroup level including specific payroll calculations for hourly or salaried employees, work schedules, and benefit groupings.
  9. Job Title:  The employee's primary job title or classification in which the employee is assigned.
  10. Additional Assignment 2:   The employee’s secondary job title or classification in which the faculty member is assigned.
  11. Additional Assignment 3:  The employee’s third job title or classification in which the faculty member is assigned.
  12. Additional Assignment 4:  The employee’s fourth job title or classification in which the faculty member is assigned.
  13. Additional Assignment 5:  The employee’s fifth job title or classification in which the faculty member is assigned.
  14. Certificates:  Education and certificates held by the employee.
  15. Action Start Date:   The effective date of the action on the employee record.
  16. Action:  The type of action entered on the employee record in the HR/Payroll system.
  17. Address Line 1:  The employee’s Work location Address Line 1 as indicated in the HR/Payroll system.   RESTRICTED will be shown for employee’s who have selected to restrict their work address.
  18. Address Line 2:  The employee’s Work location Address Line 2 as indicated in the HR/Payroll system.  RESTRICTED will be shown for employee’s who have selected to restrict their work address.
  19. City:  The employee’s Work location city.  RESTRICTED will be shown for employee’s who have selected to restrict their work address.
  20. State:  The employee’s Work location state.  RESTRICTED will be shown for employee’s who have selected to restrict their work address.
  21. Zip Code:  The employee’s Work location zip code.  RESTRICTED will be shown for employee’s who have selected to restrict their work address.
