Holiday Posting Schedule

Staffing requests for the Support Staff Position Vacancy Notices are due to Human Resources (HR) by noon every Friday via the HR/Payroll Inbox in the EBS Portal. All staffing requests received by this time will be posted the following Wednesday, at 1:00 p.m., provided all pertinent information is submitted. Applicant lists will be made available by Noon on Monday following the posting close date.

Note: The Friday posting deadline is sometimes amended because of the MSU Holiday Schedule. Below are the adjustments made for our 2025/2026 holiday schedule.

2025/2026 Holiday Posting Schedule 

• Memorial Day, May 26, 2025:

  Due to the Memorial Day Holiday, Support Staff position request forms that will be posted on May 28, 2025, are due by 5:00 PM on Thursday, May 22, 2025. Applicant lists for postings that closed Tuesday, May 20, 2025, will be made available to the departments by noon on Tuesday, May 27, 2025.

• Fourth of July, July 4, 2025:
  Due to the Fourth of July Holiday , Support Staff position request forms that will be posted on July 9, 2025, are due by 12:00 PM on Thursday, July 3, 2025. Applicant lists for postings that closed Tuesday, July 1, 2025, will be made available to the departments by noon on Tuesday, July 8, 2025.

• Labor Day, September 1, 2025 :
  Due to the Labor Day Holiday , Support Staff position request forms that will be posted on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, are due by 5:00 PM on Thursday, August 28, 2025 . Applicant lists for postings that closed Tuesday, August 26, 2025, will be made available to the departments by noon on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.

• Thanksgiving, November 27 and 28, 2025 :
  Due to the Thanksgiving Holiday , Support Staff position request forms that will be posted on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, are due by 5:00 PM on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 . Applicant lists for postings that closed Tuesday, November 25, 2025, will be made available to the departments by noon on Tuesday, December 2, 2025.

• Winter Break, December 25, 2025 – January 2, 2026:
  There will be no postings published on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, or Wednesday, December 31, 2025. The last posting cycle for 2025 will be Wednesday, December 17. Position request forms are due by 5:00 PM on Friday December 12, 2025. These postings will close Tuesday, January 6, 2026. Applicant lists will be made available to departments by Noon on Monday, January 12, 2026.

• Martin Luther King Jr. Day, January 19, 2026:
  Due to the Martin Luther King Jr. Day Holiday, Support Staff position request forms that will be posted on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, are due by Noon on Thursday, January 15, 2026. Applicant lists for postings that closed Tuesday, January 13, 2026, will be made available to the departments by noon on Tuesday, January 20, 2026.
