While it can be challenging to make the shift to working remotely, this is an opportunity to expand your knowledge and brush up on skills.
We are encouraging benefit-eligible MSU employees to use elevateU, a free learning resource that is available 24/7, to continue their professional development while working from home. A variety of resources are available in mobile friendly formats and include courses, videos, books, audio books, and more.
Resources cover a range of topic areas, including productivity (desktop) tools, leadership and management development, communication strategies, project management and more. You will also find content to help you make the shift to working remotely. As you consider different content, we encourage you to think about your development plan for the year and build from there.

In this course, you'll learn how to develop the skills you need to show team leadership and be an effective member of a virtual team. This course will help you increase your productivity by showing you how to organize and maintain both your physical and digital workspaces. How to Access elevateU
Access elevateU via this direct link or via the EBS Portal using the directions below.
- Log in to the EBS Portal with your MSU NetID and password.
- Click on My Career and Training in the top navigation.
- Click on the elevateU tile to open the application in a new window.
Mobile App Version: Additionally, elevateU is available on your mobile device with the Skillsoft Learning App. After you download the app, type elevateU into the Skillport Name box, then login with your MSU NetID and password.
