Data Definitions (HRP1136)

The data columns used in the Currently Employed TOC report are defined on this page.

  1. Last Name: The last name of the employee as indicated in the HR/Payroll system.
  2. First Name: The first name of the employee as indicated in the HR/Payroll system.
  3. Middle Name: The middle name of the employee as indicated in the HR/Payroll system.
  4. Organization Name: The primary college or MAU name in which the employee is assigned.
  5. Department Code: The primary department in which the employee is assigned.
  6. Department Name: The primary department name in which the employee is assigned.
  7. Person ID: An HR/Payroll system generated number linking a person to all of their assignments.
  8. Personnel Number: An HR/Payroll system generated number linking a person to an assignment. A person with concurrent employment will have multiple PERNRs but only one PERSID.
  9. ZPID: A unique identifier assigned to each person and begins with a letter -followed by 8 digits.
  10. Current Status: The employment status identifies whether the employee is an active or inactive employee or withdrawn from employment at the university.
  11. Employee Subgroup Code - Name: A further breakdown of Employee Group. All control features of the Personnel Structure are defined at the Employee Subgroup level including specific payroll calculations for hourly or salaried employees, work schedules, and benefit groupings.
  12. Employment Percent: The percentage of time commitment that the employee is expected to work.
  13. Personnel Subarea Code: A further breakdown of the Personnel Area. The principal organization aspects of HR are controlled at this level, including working schedules, pay scales, public holiday calendar, and wage types.
  14. Personnel Subarea Name: The principal organization aspects of HR are controlled at this level, including work schedules, pay scales, public holiday calendar, and wage types.
  15. Employee Group Name: Union, Non-Union. The employee group allows you to divide your employees into groups and allows you to define their relationship to the enterprise. It classifies employees into general groups for processing of Payroll, Time and Benefits.
  16. Employee Subgroup Code: A further breakdown of Employee Group. All control features of the Personnel Structure are defined at the Employee Subgroup level including specific payroll calculations for hourly or salaried employees, work schedules, and benefit groupings.
  17. Employee Subgroup Name: A further breakdown of Employee Group. All control features of the Personnel Structure are defined at the Employee Subgroup level including specific payroll calculations for hourly or salaried employees, work schedules, and benefit groupings.
  18. Job Title: The employee’s classification in which they were assigned.
  19. Employee Primary Assignment Start Date: Initial effective date of position appointment. 
  20. Primary Assignment End Date: End date of employee's primary assignment.
  21. Organization Code - Name: The primary college or MAU name in which the employee is assigned.
  22. Department Code - Name: The primary department in which the employee is assigned.
