The information below is relevant for the Enterprise Business Systems (EBS) Portal and the HR and Payroll functions within the portal. For information on compatibility with other EBS Systems, such as Finance and Business Intelligence, see the Compatibility Matrix.Productivity with EBS is best with the proper software settings.

* Private, InPrivate, and InCognito are not supported for HR/Payroll tiles in the EBS Portal. It prevents access to the browser's file system (a.k.a as the Z" drive") which is necessary to download files, especially spreadsheets.
** Please note that Windows 11 has NOT been assessed for functionality with the EBS Portal.

Mobile Devices & Other Operating Systems
Mobile devices, and desktop operating systems other then Windows and MacOS, are NOT supported, such as:

- Chrome OS (e.g. ChromeBook, GooglePixel)
- Windows Mobile (e.g. SurfacePro)
- Mac iOS (e.g. iPhone, iPad)
- Linux (including Debian, Fedora, Mint, Ubuntu, etc.)
Don't have a Supported Device?
You may have some success using software that is not supported, or consider using the MSU Virtual Desktop.
