2.2.3. Criterion III – Service and/or Professional Activities

The purpose of this criterion is to evaluate the archivist’s impact on the UAHC and Michigan State University, the community, and the profession and the probability that positive impact and sustained growth will continue in the future. No priority of the elements included is intended.

• Continuing active involvement in administration of professional organizations relevant to archives or records management
• Service on local, state, regional, national or international archival committees
• Service on university-wide committees or councils
• Community service and volunteer work
• Serving as an academic or community advisor
• Serving as a mentor in a mentoring relationship
• Any other pursuits which demonstrate the archivist's impact on the UAHC, Michigan State University, the community, or the profession
