MSU's new Careers @ MSU job postings website and PageUp applicant tracking system went live on April 26. As you use the new site and system, MSU Human Resources has several resources available to introduce you to and help you through the application process:

These and other resources are available on the ARO project website. Questions can be directed to MSU HR at 517-353-4434 or SolutionsCenter@hr.msu.edu. Feedback can be submitted to HR.TalentManagement@hr.msu.edu.

Student Employment Notes

Student Employees

Take note of the following important information regarding student employment:

  • The last day a graduating student, or those not registered/enrolled for Summer or Fall semester, is allowed to work is June 24.
  • Departments that want to continue employment for students not meeting student employment eligibility requirements will need to submit a Change of Position form in EBS. Under the Actions tab, click on the HR Forms & Cost Redistributions tile, and then click 'Change a Student Assignment to Temporary or On-Call.' When submitting a Change of Position form, keep in mind that only one active student position can be on record in order for a Change of Position to take place. That student will also need a criminal background check processed.
  • All students may begin working up to 40 hours per week as of April 30 through September 2.

Honors Americans serving in the miliatry.
  • May 30: Memorial Day
Commemorates all Americans who died serving in the miliatry.
