Campuswide Health Screening Form

All faculty, staff, student employees and students should use the university's official health screening form. Units should use this form moving forward rather than any forms created in the unit. MSU IT and the University Physician’s office have created this form and own this information.

Updates to Temporary and On-Call Hiring

Starting this month, MSU will require temporary and on-call support staff jobs to be posted publicly, and postings will be processed through the PageUp applicant tracking system. This will ensure all interested individuals have an equal opportunity to be aware of and compete for this type of employment at MSU.

Strategic Planning Committee Needs Your Input

President Stanley charged a steering committee to undertake a comprehensive and inclusive strategic planning process to guide the future of MSU for the coming decade.This includes gathering community input at appropriate milestones to ensure a shared vision built on shared values. Between Nov. 2-24, virtual input sessions will give students, faculty, staff and alumni the opportunity to engage with the draft values and offer their perspectives.

Mandatory DEI Learning for MSU Community

DEI Foundations, a mandatory virtual program which introduces the campus community to core diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) principles, will be emailed from the Office of Regulatory Affairs. Please plan to complete the training by the deadline referenced in your email. Additional learning experiences are offered through the Office for Inclusion and Intercultural Initiatives.

Ready to go smoke-free? Join the Great American Smokeout

On November 19, you have the opportunity to start your journey towards a healthier lifestyle with the Great American Smokeout. This annual event, created by the American Cancer Society, asks those who smoke to use the tools they have available to help them make a plan to quit smoking for good. MSU Health Care and MSU Pharmacy offer additional resources to help.
