Campuswide Health Screening Form

All faculty, staff, student employees and students should use the university's official health screening form. Units should use this form moving forward rather than any forms created in the unit. MSU IT and the University Physician’s office have created this form and own this information.

Reminder: Families First Coronavirus Response Act Provisions End Dec. 31

The Department of Labor (DOL) enacted the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA). This act is meant to assist employees during COVID-19 by providing additional leave options. As a reminder these options are set to end on December 31, 2020. We will communicate if the DOL extends these provisions.

Furlough Agreements Extended

In May, the university reached agreements with several MSU labor associations regarding employee furloughs. These agreements address operational and financial impacts of COVID-19, while protecting our employees’ access to health, dental and life insurance. The original agreements were in effect through Dec. 31, 2020. Recently, the university reached new agreements with the unions to extend the terms of the first agreements through June 30, 2021.

Navigating through Crisis to Reinvention

Over the past months, we have learned the importance of resilience, agility and supporting others as we navigate rapidly changing demands.
